Description
Princess Kakyuu is the princess of the planet Kinmoku, a world located far beyond the solar system, and the royal figure whom the Sailor Starlights serve as guardians. Her name can be translated to mean fireball or shooting star, and her character design carries a recurring motif connected to the fragrant olive, a flower associated with her home world. Her kingdom is known as the Tankei Kingdom. Before the events of the Sailor Stars season, Kinmoku was invaded and destroyed by Sailor Galaxia and her forces, Shadow Galactica. Kakyuu was among the few survivors and fled to Earth, where she concealed herself inside an incense burner that was watched over by a small child named ChibiChibi. For much of the story she remains hidden, aware that her guardians are searching for her but unable to reveal herself before the time is right.
In terms of personality, Kakyuu is calm, gentle, and reserved, carrying herself with the quiet dignity expected of a princess.
