Description
Minoru Tatsukawa is a supporting character in the anime The Gokusen. He is a young member of the Kuroda yakuza clan, having been taken in by Kumiko Yamaguchi when he was fourteen years old and had nowhere else to go. Because the clan did not accept underage members, Kumiko officially labeled him as her younger brother. Alongside his close companion Tetsu, Minoru serves as one of Kumiko's most loyal and devoted followers. Their primary role is to watch over her and ensure her safety, a duty they take with great seriousness. To stay close to her while she works as a teacher, Minoru and Tetsu often run a takoyaki stand near her school, though their enthusiastic efforts to help sometimes risk exposing her yakuza connections.
