Description
Misuzu Kusakabe is a red-haired swordswoman and an onmyoji from the Kusakabe clan, a family of onmyoji renowned for carrying oni blood and for possessing the five demonic swords known as the Kusakabe Five Treasures. She is one year older than the other main characters and attends the same high school as them. Misuzu lives alone in a mountain dwelling far from the city, having been exiled from her clan for reasons tied to her background. She possesses all five of the clan’s legendary swords, which she stores within her fingernails using dimensional magic learned from forbidden scrolls created by her ancestor Kusakabe Ryoichi, who blended Western magic with traditional onmyoji arts.
In terms of personality, Misuzu is rational, knowledgeable, and a natural strategist.
