Description
Astram Schiller is a central figure in the second season of the Inazuma Eleven anime, serving as the primary antagonist and the mastermind behind the Alius Academy project. He is the wealthy head of the powerful Schiller Group, a position that provides him with the immense resources necessary to execute his plans.

Before the events of the series, Astram was a kind and caring father to his two children, a daughter named Aquilina and a son named Xavier. His son was a passionate football player who left to study the sport overseas but was tragically killed in a mysterious car accident. When Astram sought justice, the case was closed without a proper investigation because the son of a government official was involved. Consumed by grief and frustration over this denial of justice, he fell into a deep depression.

This despair led to a pivotal change in his life. After being taken to an orphanage called Sunshine Garden, he found solace in caring for the children there, feeling like a father again. However, this period of healing was interrupted when the Schiller Group discovered a powerful meteorite that had crashed on Mount Fuji. The energy from this Alius Rock began to warp Astram's mind, transforming his grief into a desire for revenge against the world for the mistreatment of his son's death.

Using the Alius Rock's power, Astram created the Alius Academy. He genetically enhanced the very orphans from Sunshine Garden, turning them into child soldiers with otherworldly abilities. To hide his involvement, he disguised them as extraterrestrial warriors and set them loose to destroy football teams across Japan. His ultimate goal was to forge the single strongest team, Genesis, by having his squads eliminate all competition.

In his role as the shadow coach of Genesis, Astram is calm, mysterious, and ruthlessly strategic. He is frequently seen with his eyes closed, giving off a deceptively wise and humble demeanor, even making generous public donations. Beneath this facade, he is completely ruthless, having no qualms about kidnapping the prime minister or ordering his players to deliberately injure opponents like Nathan Swift, whose speed he identified as a threat. His favorite player is Xavier Foster, also known as Xene, the captain of Genesis, whom he favored because of his striking resemblance to his deceased son.

Astram's key relationships are defined by his family. His biological daughter, Aquilina, opposes his methods and ultimately helps Raimon Junior High by coaching them to face Genesis. His adopted "son," Xavier Foster, serves as the powerful captain of his ultimate team. When Raimon defeats Genesis, Astram finally realizes the error of his ways. Showing genuine remorse, he is prepared to die in the collapsing Alius headquarters, but Raimon's captain convinces him to escape and face justice. He becomes penitent, willingly surrendering to the police to answer for his crimes. In the alternate timeline of Inazuma Eleven Ares, his biological son survives, preventing Astram from ever becoming a villain.
