She cooks for him, and although she is sometimes mistaken for his mother, Tenma clarifies that she is like an older sister to him. Hints are given of an ongoing connection to someone in America, likely Ichinose. She also becomes the coach of a local youth team called the Akizora Challengers, using her managerial experience. Aki has short dark green hair, typically styled with a left-side pink clip, and brown or brownish-green eyes.
