Description
Patrick Colasour is a recurring character in Mobile Suit Gundam 00. He begins the story as a lieutenant in the French military of the Advanced European Union, or AEU, where he is regarded as one of the bloc's top ace pilots and is trusted as the test pilot for its new AEU Enact mobile suit. He is a striking figure with red hair and purple eyes, and he carries himself with a flamboyant confidence that makes him stand out among the other soldiers.
His personality is defined by extreme self-regard. He habitually introduces himself as the AEU's greatest ace, boasts about a record of more than two thousand sorties and victories in simulated combat, and believes he is destined for glory. His overconfidence, hot-blooded nature, and tendency to show off lead many of his superiors and colleagues to doubt his real abilities, and his eagerness to grandstand often makes him the source of comic relief in otherwise serious situations.
