Alex Louis Armstrong, known as the Strong Arm Alchemist, is a State Alchemist holding the rank of Major within the Amestrian State Military. He is a towering man with an exceptionally muscular physique, standing over two meters tall. His distinctive appearance includes a bald head with a single blond curl, a thick handlebar mustache, blue eyes, and a cleft chin.
Born into the prestigious and wealthy Armstrong family, Alex carries a deep sense of pride in his heritage and frequently attributes his abilities to techniques passed down through his lineage. Despite his intimidating size and fearsome strength in battle, his personality is marked by a sharp contrast. He is boisterous, comically emotional, and prone to bursting into tears of sorrow, joy, or compassion. He is also known for his habit of dramatically tearing off his uniform shirt to display his muscles, believing them to be a work of art meant to inspire others.
