Description
Kevin McDougall is a Sweeper, a bounty hunter, who forms part of the Sweeper Alliance alongside Train. He is 23 years old, with a birthday of June 19. He has spiked brown hair and blue eyes, and his casual attire consists of a black t-shirt with a red vest over it.
Having possessed a strong sense of justice since childhood, Kevin always aspired to work in a field that would allow him to protect people. After graduating from high school, he worked for a high-class corporation for a short time but never gave up his childhood dream. Upon learning of the existence of Sweepers, he left the corporate world to pursue this career. Despite being a Sweeper for only seven months, he had already achieved success, capturing a large drug organization three months prior to his introduction.
Although Sweepers are typically portrayed as loners, Kevin was willing to work as part of the Sweeper Alliance. He is eager and ambitious, expressing a desire to take a leadership role within the group, an aspiration that other members sometimes tease him about due to his relative youth and inexperience. He is compassionate, demonstrated by his shock upon encountering the young Apostle of the Star, Leon Elliot, as he could not believe the organization would recruit a child. Despite being injured by Leon, he shows resilience and concern for his allies, assuring Eve that he is alright after the attack.
Kevin plays a supportive role in the larger conflict against the Apostles of the Star. He participates in the final confrontation on Kraken Island, where he and Eve are attacked by Leon Elliot. During the mission, he demonstrates his sense of duty and gratitude in a critical moment. After two other Sweepers, Fudou and Mundock, are injected with nanomachines that cause them to attack their allies, Kevin takes a blow from Fudou that was meant for Eve. As he loses consciousness from blood loss, he tells Eve that his debt to her for saving him previously has been repaid.

His specialty is taking down multiple opponents at once with his dual pistols, and he possesses a high degree of accuracy, capable of hitting small, hidden weak points. While his speed is notable, it is not as fast as that of his more experienced ally, Train.
