Description
Yuuna Yunohana haunts Room 4 of the Yuragi Inn as a ghost, plagued by amnesia about her human life and death. An unidentified necessity binds her to the inn, separate from rumors of a past death on the premises. Her early existence involved forming bonds with spiritually aware residents like Chitose Nakai, Sagiri Ameno, Nonko Arahabaki, and Yaya Fushiguro, though she unintentionally frightened those with low spiritual power. Chitose named her "Yunohana Yuuna" on November 7, a date signifying her status as the seventh clone.

Her background reveals she is the seventh clone of Mahoro Tenko, created by Byakuei Tenko in an attempt to cure Mahoro's disease using the soul-devouring Garandou spell. Designated Genryuusai Tenko, she uniquely resisted Byakuei's control and avoided using Garandou. In her human life, she appeared apathetic and wheelchair-bound with black hair, contrasting her ghostly white. She died under unexplained circumstances, becoming the sole clone manifesting as a ghost due to unresolved regrets.

Physically, Yuuna manifests as a 153 cm tall high school girl with long white hair and red eyes. She typically wears a hot spring yukata, part of her spiritual form enabling clothing manipulation. Distinct ghost traits include a triangular white cloth (sankaku no shiroi nuno), a blue wisp above her head, and variable visibility—ranging from full apparition to translucent or shadowy forms based on the observer's spiritual awareness. In her Tenko Spirit Armor state, she adopts a nine-tailed fox motif featuring a jagged coat, fuzzy accents, and enhanced combat capabilities.

Personality-wise, Yuuna is modest, kindhearted, and easily embarrassed, often triggering involuntary poltergeist effects. She exhibits timidity and reluctance to defy others but grows fiercely protective and competitive, especially concerning Kogarashi Fuyuzora. Her attachment to him evolves from gratitude for resolving her lingering regret into romantic love, fueling her determination to safeguard his well-being even when angered.

Her abilities progress significantly. Initially, she displays standard ghost physiology: intangibility, flight, invisibility to low-spirit individuals, poltergeist phenomena, and possession. After reclaiming her identity as Genryuusai Tenko, she accesses advanced Tenko techniques. These include Spirit Armor for planetary-scale combat, space manipulation creating interdimensional realms, sealing opponents in mirror-like objects, spirit armor cancellation, and sharing spiritual power to empower allies. Her Genryuusai Form briefly matches top-tier adversaries like Ouga.

Her character development centers on resolving her lingering regret. Initially seeking closure to pass on, her bond with Kogarashi alters this goal. After regaining memories and confronting her origins, she chooses to remain a ghost to stay with him, weakening her tether to Room 4 enough to roam the inn nightly. Their relationship culminates in marriage, solidifying her decision to reject the afterlife.
