Description
Mujika is a demon born over 1000 years ago into a typical demon clan. From a young age, she displayed unique traits, maintaining her human-like form and intelligence without consuming human flesh, unlike other demons who degenerate without it. Approximately 700 years ago, the properties of her blood were discovered: a single drop could permanently grant other demons the same ability to retain their form without relying on human consumption. This led to her reverence as a "miracle child" among some communities.

Her blood's power threatened the demon aristocracy and the farm system overseen by the Royal Family and the Five Regents. They initiated a slander campaign, labeling her blood "evil" and "poison," and ordered her clan exterminated. Her village was destroyed, her family killed, and she was imprisoned in the Royal Capital's dungeons. There, she met Sonju, who helped her escape. Together, they became outcasts known as "Heathens," shunned for refusing to eat humans, and spent centuries evading capture while Mujika questioned her purpose.

Mujika appears nearly human, with pale blueish-gray skin, purple braided pigtails partially covering her horns, and typically wears a floor-length white dress with a cropped blue hooded cloak and a demon mask featuring eye holes and forehead horns. Initially, she showed deceptive kindness, planning to betray the Grace Field escapees by returning them to the farm for temporary safety for herself and Sonju. Sonju convinced her to rescue them instead. Over time, she developed genuine attachments, particularly to Emma, relating to her experiences of loss and forming a maternal bond.

Her pivotal role began when she and Sonju encountered the Grace Field children in the forest. She provided medical aid, shelter, and survival guidance, gifting Emma an eye-shaped locket as a good-luck charm and advising her to seek the "Seven Walls." Later, she aided a demon village by sharing her blood to prevent degeneration, an act that drew the farms' ire but demonstrated her commitment to coexistence. During the conflict against Queen Legravalima and the Ratri clan, she fought alongside humans and demons, using her blood to reverse degeneration caused by poison.

In the climactic battle at the Imperial Capital, she nearly died from blood loss after reviving a high-ranking demon. Captured and sentenced to execution, she was spared by Leuvis, who then abolished the farms and appointed her as the new demon queen for her vision of a peaceful world. As queen, she focused on unifying demon society without reliance on human consumption, symbolizing a break from centuries of conflict. Her relationship with Sonju remained foundational, though their motivations diverged at times, such as his desire to resume human consumption versus her commitment to change. Her bond with Emma endured, culminating in a reunion at Grace Field after the farms' dissolution.

Mujika's abilities center on her "Evil Blood," which permanently alters demons' physiology to eliminate the need for human flesh; demons who ingest it can spread this change. She speaks the demon language but primarily uses human language when interacting with humans or Sonju. Her leadership emerged through her actions, uniting demons under a new societal model and earning the loyalty of survivors like Vylk, who shared her history of persecution.

Her character arc spans questioning her existence due to being "different," to finding purpose through Emma: bridging the human-demon divide and leading her species toward a future free of predation.
