In terms of personality, Eagle presents a compelling duality. He is simultaneously an enigmatic and forceful tactician in battle, yet a gentle, chivalrous, and soft-spoken gentleman in personal interactions. He is known for his calm, intelligent, and strategic mind, often keeping his true intentions hidden behind a perpetual, kind smile. He seeks to become the next Pillar of Cephiro to study or replicate its powerful energy-generating system for Autozam’s benefit. However, this goal is complicated by a deeply personal tragedy: Eagle is afflicted with a terminal, potentially lethal illness and was not even expected to survive long enough to reach Cephiro. In the manga, his condition is linked to the overuse of mental energy and would soon leave him in a comatose state. This knowledge fuels his desire to become the Pillar, as he wishes to spare his close friend Lantis from a similar fate and then enter an eternal sleep together with Cephiro.

Within the story, Eagle plays the crucial role of a rival and reluctant ally. He is a key antagonist who kidnaps the Magic Knight Hikaru Shidou, yet this act leads to an unexpected rapport between them.
