Description
Instructor G, a character from the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing anime, is one of the original scientists responsible for designing and building the powerful Gundam mobile suits intended for Operation Meteor. He is specifically the engineer and creator of the Gundam Deathscythe.

Physically, Instructor G is a distinctive figure, known for his unusually long nose, a prominent scar on his cheek, and a thick, mushroom-shaped hairstyle. His personality is sardonic and, like several of his colleagues, quite eccentric. He carries an immense pride in his work, often referring to the Gundam Deathscythe, which specializes in stealth systems, as the ultimate work of art.

Instructor G hails from the L2 Colony cluster and is a member of the Sweeper group, a collective of space salvagers and engineers. His path crossed with Duo Maxwell when the young boy managed to crack his security codes. Impressed by this feat, Instructor G took Duo under his wing and trained him to become the pilot of the Deathscythe.

When the original plan for Operation Meteor, which called for dropping a colony on Earth, was abandoned by the five Gundam scientists, Duo refused to follow the revised orders. He decided to destroy the Deathscythe and everyone in the factory, including himself, to prevent the mobile suit from being used for mass slaughter. Instructor G caught Duo in the act when the detonator failed, and instead of stopping him, he encouraged the young man to steal the Deathscythe and take the fight to the Earth Alliance on his own terms.

Instructor G later becomes a captive of the military organization OZ. Presumed to be the developer of all the Gundams, he confesses that he only built Deathscythe. Eventually, he and his fellow captured Gundam scientists Doctor J, Instructor H, Doctor S, and Master O are commissioned by the OZ officer Lady Une to create new mobile suits more powerful than their own creations. Together, they build the OZ-13MSX2 Mercurius and the OZ-13MSX1 Vayeate. While working for OZ, the scientists secretly use their resources and time to reconstruct the destroyed Gundams, with Instructor G overseeing the rebuilding of Deathscythe into the more advanced Deathscythe Hell.

The ultimate fate of Instructor G, alongside his four fellow Gundam scientists, is a selfless act of sacrifice. They purposefully end their own lives to reactivate the engines of the massive spaceship Peacemillion, which they had also helped to co-create. This act allows the ship to serve a critical purpose in the final stages of the conflict. Throughout the story, his defining relationship is with Duo Maxwell, whom he treats with a gruff, cantankerous respect, ultimately trusting the pilot to forge his own path.
