Description
KR is an Elf Summoner bearing the Chindon'ya (street performer) subclass, initially obtained through a punishment game with the Debauchery Tea Party. His combat style features the rare dual-wielding of staffs and his signature Overskill, Crimson Contract. He possesses green hair tied in a bundle, a slim build, and wears elaborate but tattered robes, typically paired with sandals or slippers. Personality-wise, he exhibits an easygoing, light-hearted demeanor with a penchant for teasing others, particularly Indicus, though he occasionally demonstrates care for her, such as gifting her a communication tablet.
Before the Catastrophe, he was a wealthy multilingual individual fluent in four languages, leveraging this skill to gather international gaming information while working professionally at a hospital in Kanagawa. Within Elder Tale, he operated the solo guild "Team for KR All-Alone." Post-Catastrophe, he utilized his language skills and the Soul Possession ability to collect intelligence from overseas servers. During his travels, he joined Kanami's party in China, aiding in battles against powerful foes like the Black Dragon. In a fatal confrontation, he sacrificed himself to defeat the dragon, later reviving in Minami.
He subsequently aligned with Plant Hwyaden, securing the Tenth Seat on its governing Ten-Seat Conference. Despite this affiliation, he maintained covert communication with Shiroe and expressed reservations about Indicus's extremist goals. During the Round Table's collapse, he provided her faction with intelligence—including political shifts in Westelande and Touri's movements—in exchange for answers about her motives and knowledge of the Genius Jazar residing in her left eye. A notable bond exists between him and the raid boss Garnet Dragon ("Ga-tan"); she serves as his contracted follower, though he can release limitations to unleash her full power. Their connection endures post-contract, with Ga-tan assuming a humanoid form and remaining by his side.
In later events, he received documents from Shiroe via courier Woodstock W, signaling Shiroe's interest in visiting Minami. He observed conflicts such as Minami's civil war without direct involvement, prioritizing information gathering. His equipment includes the Scorpius Cane (reduces skill cooldowns), Nest of the Abyss Demons (enhances phantasmal beasts), and a portable Cotton Hammock.
Trivia notes: his name originates from "Kamen Rider" (his favorite franchise), he appears offline in Shiroe's friend list due to server separation, and an early character concept depicted him as a "stiff intellectual" before his personality was revised.
