Naruhiko Emoto is a first-year student at Miden Academy, attending Class 1-B. He was born into an abusive household and later enrolled at the exorcist academy after his cyber-kinesis abilities awakened. He stands 183 centimeters tall, has black eyes, and dyed blond hair at the tips, giving him a rocker appearance. He always wears a pair of headphones that were a gift from his teacher. Despite his tough look, he is afraid of loud noises and is easily frightened.

He serves as a spirit medium in training and a major character in the story. His primary ability is a defensive electric power called Wall Nirvana, which he activates by playing music through his MP3 player. This ability allows him to generate protective barriers and counter ghost accounts. His motivations stem from his difficult past and his training to become a capable exorcist, though his specific personal goals are shaped by his relationships with his teacher and fellow students such as Kukuru Kasubata. Throughout the series, he develops from a fearful but outwardly edgy novice into a more reliable member of the exorcist team, learning to control his powers and confront his anxieties.
