Ryōta Suzuki is a Japanese voice actor born on December 22, 1998, in Aichi Prefecture and raised in Chiba Prefecture. His path to voice acting began during his high school years. Initially involved in both the track and field and broadcasting clubs, his experience at the NHK Cup National High School Broadcasting Contest proved pivotal. After advancing to the semifinals in his first year, the disappointment of not advancing further led him to focus solely on the broadcasting club. He went on to win the national championship in the reading category at the 63rd NHK Cup contest in 2016. To pursue a career in voice acting, he enrolled in the Japan Narration Acting Institute during his second year of high school and subsequently joined the talent agency VIMS in 2016.

Suzuki's professional voice acting debut came in 2016 with a minor role in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. In the following years, he built his portfolio with a variety of supporting roles in series such as Classroom of the Elite, Recovery of an MMO Junkie, and Tsurune. His breakthrough role arrived in 2019 when he was cast as Yū Ishigami in the hit romantic comedy series Kaguya-sama: Love is War. His nuanced performance as the cynical yet endearing Ishigami across multiple seasons and a film became one of his most recognized and beloved roles, solidifying his place in the industry.

Following this success, Suzuki continued to land prominent and diverse roles. He voiced the ambitious and flamboyant Ryusui Nanami in the Dr. Stone franchise, including the Dr. Stone: Ryusui special and Dr. Stone: New World. He also took on leading roles such as the titular character Bisco Akaboshi in Sabikui Bisco and Rentt Faina in The Unwanted Undead Adventurer. His filmography is extensive and spans many genres. Beyond anime, Suzuki's voice can be heard in numerous video games. Some of his notable game roles include Trey Clover in Disney: Twisted-Wonderland, Asclepius in Fate/Grand Order, and Mr. Fox in Path to Nowhere. His work also extends to dubbing foreign films and dramas, where he has provided the Japanese voice for actors like Nicholas Hoult in Those Who Wish Me Dead and Chance Perdomo in Gen V. In 2021, he also voiced the character Cutanner Goldtsuiker in the live-action Super Sentai series Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.

Throughout his career, Suzuki has been affiliated with several agencies. After starting at VIMS, he moved to TMS Music in April 2023. In April 2025, he took a significant step by founding his own talent agency, DASH ON, where he serves as the representative director. In addition to his voice work, Suzuki has demonstrated his versatility by performing character songs and has been noted for his athleticism, holding a black belt in karate and enjoying activities like self-weight training. His early talent for public speaking was also recognized when he served as the master of ceremonies for the opening ceremony of the 89th National High School Baseball Tournament in 2017.
