Michel de Nostradamus is one of the thirteen human champions, known as Einherjar, chosen to fight for humanity in the tournament of Ragnarok. He is based on the historical French prophet, astronomer, physician, and poet, and in the story he is often referred to as the Legendary Prophet. Brunhilde, the valkyrie who orchestrates humanity’s defense, describes him as humanity’s joker, implying he is an unpredictable but overwhelmingly powerful trump card. She also calls him the Most Obnoxious Man in the History of Humanity, a title that reflects his irreverent and playful personality.
