Description
Luna Wright is a supporting character who first appears during the American arc of the story. Before the worldwide petrification event, she was a medical student from a wealthy and influential family. Despite her privileged background, she struggled academically and had to repeat courses, demonstrating persistence and a willingness to work hard rather than rely solely on her family's connections. Her primary motivation for studying medicine was her desire to find an intelligent and accomplished partner, as she dreams of a romantic relationship and fears ending up alone.

In the stone world, Luna initially resides in Dr. Xeno's American colony and assists with his projects. However, she does not fully agree with all of Xeno's methods. When the Kingdom of Science arrives in America, Luna is sent as a spy to identify the leader of the group. During her time aboard the Perseus, she becomes enamored with Senku Ishigami, drawn to his intelligence and character. Instead of carrying out her original mission, she decides to defect to the Kingdom of Science, tending to Senku's injuries and openly declaring herself his girlfriend. Senku does not reciprocate her romantic feelings and views their relationship as purely strategic, but Luna remains devoted to him.

Personality-wise, Luna is a romantic at heart, often daydreaming about a carefree life with a partner. She can appear timid and sometimes struggles with self-doubt, but she frequently reminds herself to be a cool-headed and empowered woman. She values hard work and perseverance, as shown by her repeated attempts to pass her medical exams. Despite her wealth, she does not flaunt her privilege and prefers to earn her own place.

Her key relationships include her initial allegiance to Dr. Xeno and the American colony, her eventual alliance with the Kingdom of Science, and her one-sided romantic pursuit of Senku. She also interacts with other members of the Kingdom of Science, forming bonds during her time on the ship. Her development involves moving from a spy for Xeno to a dedicated member of the Kingdom of Science, using her medical training to assist the group as a surgeon. In the later stages of the story, she continues to work alongside Senku and the others in their scientific endeavors, remaining a steadfast supporter even after the main conflict concludes. Her notable abilities stem from her medical education, giving her foundational knowledge in treatment and surgery that proves useful in the stone world.
