Ai Kisugi is the youngest of the three Kisugi sisters who run the Cat's Eye cafe by day and carry out art heists by night. A high school student, she has a spunky, tomboyish personality and often daydreams about falling in love. She keeps a pet tabby kitten named Tiger. The sisters' mission is to recover artwork that once belonged to their missing father, the painter Michael Heinz; Ai has no memories of him, as he disappeared shortly after her birth. Possessing a genius-level IQ, Ai serves as the team's technical expert and mechanic, adept at mechanics, computer programming, and engineering. She designs and builds gadgets essential for their heists and is the group's getaway driver, skilled with helicopters, motorcycles, cars, and small aircraft. Though physically the weakest of the three, she is exceptionally agile, and her sisters deeply trust her judgment, especially in art appraisal. Ai has short dark hair and brown eyes, and on missions she wears a distinctive orange leotard or catsuit. She is romantically involved with Tetsu Kono. Her notable weaknesses include an intense fear of snakes and an occasional tendency to make mistakes during operations. In a crossover with Lupin III, the gentleman thief Lupin takes on an unexpected role as a mentor to Ai.
