Description
Futaba is a lively and energetic elementary school girl who serves as a supporting character. She is the childhood friend and neighbor of a boy named Atsushi, whom she affectionately calls Akkun. Her world largely revolves around her feelings for him, which are the primary motivation behind most of her actions.

In terms of appearance, Futaba has brown hair that falls to her shoulders and purple eyes. She is known for her unique and colorful fashion sense, often wearing outfits adorned with patterns and motifs that resemble twin leaves, which makes her stand out visually from the rest of the cast.

Futaba has a big personality that is best described as extroverted, brusque, and highly competitive. She fits the archetype of a tsundere, as she has a tendency to act cold, stubborn, and defensive to hide her true feelings, especially when it comes to her affection for Atsushi. Despite her sometimes harsh or mean exterior, which can manifest as bossiness and jealousy, she is not a malicious person. Beneath her tough facade, she possesses a more vulnerable, caring, and sincere nature that she struggles to express openly. She is often driven by her intense emotions, swinging between jealousy, awkwardness, and genuine happiness.

The central driving force of Futaba's character is her passionate and secret crush on her childhood friend, Atsushi. Her inability to be honest about these feelings leads her to frequently act on impulse and become easily jealous of anyone she perceives as a threat to her bond with him. This is most prominently seen in her initial rivalry with Reina Aharen. Convinced that Reina is a rival trying to steal Atsushi away, whom she mentally labels as a "bad woman" or a "villain," Futaba constantly challenges her to various contests and competitions. This rivalry, however, is largely one-sided and fueled by Futaba's vivid imagination and misconceptions.

A key turning point for Futaba occurs when she learns that Reina's romantic interests lie with another character, Shōta Raidō, and not with Atsushi. This revelation causes her to lower her guard and significantly reduce her hostility. She begins to open up, forming warmer friendships with Reina and the rest of the Aharen family, which helps broaden her social circle and demonstrates her capacity for growth and adaptation. While she initially sees many of the Aharen siblings as new love rivals in a comedic fashion, her relationships with them evolve into genuine bonds.

Despite her often chaotic and emotionally driven behavior, Futaba sometimes finds herself as the voice of reason among the more eccentric characters in her group. Her wild imagination and competitive spirit are the source of many comedic moments in the story. She possesses a notable talent for playing the board game Reversi, where her skill and competitiveness shine. In stark contrast, she is notoriously bad at cooking, which often leads to comical or embarrassing situations.
