Description
Elizabeth Liones appears in the sequel series Four Knights of the Apocalypse as the Queen of the Kingdom of Liones, having previously married Meliodas after the events of the original Holy War. She is the mother of Tristan, one of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and rules alongside her husband as a wise and benevolent queen. Elizabeth retains her kind, diplomatic nature in the sequel, approaching conflicts with a desire for peace rather than violence, which stems from her long history as the 107th reincarnation of the goddess who once sought to end the war between the clans.

As the mother of Tristan, Elizabeth plays a significant supporting role in the sequel. She is seen tending to the bedridden King Bartra, her adoptive father, and later appears when her son confronts the resurrected Ten Commandments, Melascula and Galan, who have been sent by Arthur Pendragon. When Tristan reluctantly uses his demonic powers in battle, Elizabeth shows concern, but Meliodas reassures her by noting Tristan has trustworthy friends to support him. She is also present when Percival and the other knights first visit the Boar Hat tavern, where she continues to work alongside Meliodas as a waitress despite her royal status.

Elizabeths role in the sequel remains that of a protector and supporter of the new generation. Although she does not engage in combat as frequently as before, she still possesses immense goddess powers, including the ability to heal and to use Ark, the holy magic that disintegrates darkness. In the original series, she was known as Bloodstained Ellie during the ancient Holy War, a title given to her by the Demon Clan due to her fierce combat abilities before she fell in love with Meliodas. This nickname is referenced in Four Knights of the Apocalypse when Tristan mentions it during a battle, curious about his mothers past. Elizabeths development throughout the sequel emphasizes her transition from a warrior goddess and cursed princess to a devoted queen and mother, though she still retains the strength and determination that defined her earlier incarnations.

Her relationship with Meliodas remains central to her character. The two work together running the Boar Hat tavern even while ruling Liones, demonstrating their enduring bond and preference for a simple life despite their powerful positions. Elizabeth maintains close ties with her son Tristan, offering guidance and support as he navigates his identity as both a demon and a goddess, inheriting powers from both Meliodas and Elizabeth. She also holds deep affections for her adoptive family, including her father Bartra and her sisters Veronica and Margaret. Her primary motivation in Four Knights of the Apocalypse is to protect her family and kingdom from the threat posed by Arthurs Chaos magic, which has transformed Camelot into a dangerous illusion threatening all of Britannia.

Elizabeths notable abilities in the sequel include her goddess healing magic, which she used as early as childhood to heal her father Bartra from severe injuries. She can also wield Ark in various forms, creating barriers, projectiles, and even a massive sword of light. Her power is considered on par with or even greater than the Four Archangels of the Goddess Clan, reflecting her status as the daughter of the Supreme Deity. Despite her immense abilities, Elizabeth remains a pacifist at heart, preferring negotiation over battle, and she often uses her telepathic powers to calm enemies rather than destroy them, as demonstrated when she stopped an entire army of demons with a gentle gaze.
