Description
Elsa is a young girl from Lag Village, where the story of Teogonia takes place. Within her community, she primarily fulfills a supportive role, handling essential daily tasks such as cooking and aiding the men who depart from the village to engage in battle. Her place in the story is largely defined by her connection to the protagonist, Kai. She feels a sense of kinship with him because, like her, he originally came from another village. This shared experience of being outsiders fosters a bond, and she secretly harbors a romantic affection for him, a crush that is a notable aspect of her personality.

Elsa is a female character with brown hair that is often styled up, and she has green eyes. Her typical attire includes a red kimono with wide, long sleeves, complemented by a green waist apron and a yellow waistband. She also wears black undersleeves and black footwear.

A pivotal event drastically shifts Elsa’s circumstances and her role in the narrative. An inspector named Gandal, who possesses a powerful sacred crest, arrives at Lag Village and selects Elsa to spend the night with him. Before this can happen, Elsa confesses her feelings to Kai, and the two become intimate. When Gandal discovers that she is no longer a virgin, he becomes enraged and brutally beats her, leaving her critically injured and on the verge of death.

Driven by his bond with her, Kai takes action to save Elsa’s life. He gives her a divine stone to eat, which possesses healing properties. While the stone successfully heals her physical wounds, the side effect is that she falls into a deep coma. To protect her, Kai pretends to bury her but instead secretly takes her away to a valley. This traumatic sequence of events reveals her initial vulnerability within the village’s social structure, but it also serves as the catalyst that deepens her connection to Kai and directly fuels his motivations for a significant confrontation. Her character development is tied to this tragedy, transforming her from a quiet support figure into the central motivation for revenge and a major turning point in the protagonist's journey.

Elsa does not possess notable combat abilities or divine protections. Her strengths lie in her domestic skills, such as cooking, and her quiet, supportive nature. Her primary development in the story is not through gaining power, but through the harrowing experience of victimization and sacrifice, which profoundly impacts those around her.
