Shiipon, known off-duty as Shino Goto, serves as a maid at the Oinky Doink Café. She possesses tan skin, striking golden eyes, and dyed blonde hair typically pulled into a high half ponytail, her natural color being dark brown. Her work look features the standard café maid outfit, thigh-high black platform boots, and distinctive makeup, an area where she demonstrates considerable skill. Fatty tuna is her favorite food.

Her personality is laid-back and go-with-the-flow. She maintains an unfazed demeanor, speaking straightforwardly even when participating in Manager Yasuko Yaegashi's schemes. Beneath this seemingly disinterested exterior lies a genuine appreciation for her work and coworkers; her tenure at Oinky Doink marks the first sustained commitment in her previously transient life.

Before joining the café, Shiipon drifted without long-term attachments. She randomly took the job after receiving Yasuko's flyer while still a high school student. Her character is tested when corporate oversight arrives from the Creatureland group, imposing harsh new training under drillmaster Minori Sano. Shiipon initially organizes a boycott against the regimen. However, Sano manipulates the situation, convincing all maids except Shiipon and Ranko to comply.

Faced with this, Shiipon attempts to flee, aided by Ranko. Her resolve shifts when she encounters the deposed Manager Yasuko and Okachimachi scavenging in the café's trash. This sight compels her to return. She changes her attitude and appearance to meet Sano's demands. Later, when Yasuko returns to confront Sano, Shiipon supports her and helps resist the corporate takeover. Her pivotal action involves destroying the Creatureland symbol with a bazooka, declaring the maids joined for enjoyment, not corporate profit.

In relationships, Shiipon shows higher tolerance for Yasuko's recklessness than her colleague Yumechi, participating in risky schemes like taking loans using their organs as collateral to bet on Ranko. She fully backs Yasuko when the Manager reclaims the café. Shiipon shares a notably close bond with Yumechi, as they are the longest-serving maids. Both display fierce loyalty to the café and each other, readily defending coworkers or the establishment against insults.

Shiipon's character design presented challenges for the animation team during production.
