She often lets her tongue hang out and wears a distinctive red stitched mask with holes for her horns, mouth, and ears. Originally owned by a wealthy female magic user who fraudulently presented Kikurage's resurrection abilities as her own, Kikurage was hidden inside the sorceress's dress during "Death Parties," where attendees provided corpses and lavish gifts for revival. En discovered the deception upon finding black powder on the sorceress's dress, transformed her head into mushrooms, and claimed Kikurage after spotting the creature concealed within the clothing. En thereafter referred to Kikurage as his partner. Kikurage possesses rare resurrection magic, manifesting as white smoke instead of the typical black smoke. This ability revives the dead if a sufficient portion of the corpse remains intact, such as a head, though life support may be necessary. For sorcerers, their devil tumor must be undamaged. Resurrection does not heal injuries, so unrepaired bodies may die again. There is no known limit to revival frequency. Kikurage avoids reviving corpses due to an aversion to their decay odor. She exhibits a playful yet sadistic streak, frequently reviving insects like cockroaches to toy with them by repeatedly killing and resurrecting them. Her personality is self-centered and childish, primarily focused on eating. En and Ebisu dote on her extensively, with Kikurage viewing En as a father figure and Ebisu as a sister. She wears a blade collar gifted by En; it deploys razor blades as a defense mechanism when threatened but functions only once before requiring reset. Within the En Family, Kikurage is a cherished member. She resides in En's mansion and is often seen accompanying him or Ebisu.
