Cassandra Lee Morris is an American voice actress with a prolific career in anime dubbing, animation, and video games. Born on April 19, 1982, in Connecticut, she developed an early interest in performance, recording her first voice-over work at the age of twelve for an English as a Second Language cassette tape. As a teenager, she gained on-camera experience as a program host for the educational video series Real World Science, a role she continued through high school and college. She later graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, working as a journalist and blogger in New York City and Los Angeles before committing to voice acting full-time.

Morris began her voice-over career in New York with 4Kids Entertainment and NYAV Post. Her first anime television role was in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, where she voiced the characters Alice and later Yubel, which became her first major role in the industry. She subsequently provided voices for other long-running franchises such as Pokémon and Winx Club.

Following her move to Los Angeles, Morris's career expanded significantly. She landed a starring role as Ritsu Tainaka, the energetic drummer in the beloved music anime K-On! in 2011. That same year, she voiced the enigmatic and controversial mascot character Kyubey in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, a role that garnered strong reactions from audiences. In 2012, she began voicing Suguha Kirigaya / Leafa in the globally popular series Sword Art Online, a role she has reprised across multiple sequels including Sword Art Online: Alicization and its War of Underworld arcs. Another defining performance came in 2014 with the English dub of Toradora!, where she voiced the lead heroine, Taiga Aisaka, a character known for her "tsundere" personality. Morris has described Taiga as a particularly enjoyable character to portray.

Morris's voice is also featured in a wide array of anime films. She voiced the title character in the sci-fi film Patema Inverted, Sue in the 2014 film Stand By Me Doraemon, and Sayaka Natori in Makoto Shinkai's critical and commercial success Your Name.. In Liz and the Blue Bird, she played Sapphire "Midori" Kawashima. Her film work also includes the role of Natsume Tonai in Drifting Home.

In the realm of television anime, Morris's versatility is evident through her many roles. She voices Takita in Drifting Dragons, Marie in Great Pretender, Mina Hibino in Teasing Master Takagi-san, Kikurage in Dorohedoro, and Zurich in the Netflix series Eden. She plays Konoha Nanase in The Orbital Children, Babu Lisa in Dino Girl Gauko, and Aya Kouda in Bungo Stray Dogs. For younger audiences, she voices the character Sue / Shizuka Minamoto in the Doraemon franchise, including the Stand By Me Doraemon films. She also appears in the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal film as CereCere and in various Fate titles, including Nero Claudius in Fate/Grand Carnival and Saber in Fate/Extra Last Encore: Illustrias Tendōsetsu. In superhero anime, she voices Pao-Lin Huang, also known as Dragon Kid, in Tiger & Bunny 2 and the young hero Kota Izumi in My Hero Academia. She also voiced Momoka "Momo" Yashiro in Gundam Build Divers and Jupiter in Pokémon Generations.

Beyond anime, Morris is one of the most recognized voices in video game dubbing. She is particularly well-known for her role as Morgana, the mascot character of the critically acclaimed Persona 5 and its numerous spin-offs and adaptations, including Persona 5 the Animation. She voices Fie Claussell and Alfin Reise Arnor in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series, Edea Lee in Bravely Default, and Lin Lee Koo in Xenoblade Chronicles X, the latter requiring her to record between 1,600 and 1,800 lines of dialogue. In the Danganronpa series, she voices Aoi Asahina and Angie Yonaga, and in Nier: Automata, she is the voice of Operator 6O. She also voices the champions Nami and Yuumi in the global phenomenon League of Legends. Additional prominent game roles include Sothis in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Totooria "Totori" Helmold in Atelier Totori, and Elphelt Valentine in the Guilty Gear series.

Throughout her career, Morris has collaborated frequently with major dubbing studios such as Bang Zoom! Entertainment, NYAV Post, and Studiopolis. In addition to her on-screen and game work, she is an accomplished audiobook narrator. Her narrations have earned multiple AudioFile Earphones Awards, and she has received an Audie Award nomination and an Odyssey Award Honor from the American Library Association for her work.
