Description
Loki is the goddess who leads the Loki Familia, one of the most powerful and influential exploration-focused factions in the city of Orario. She has light red hair and red eyes, and she usually dresses in tomboyish or male-inspired clothing such as jeans and a shirt that exposes her midriff, often tying her hair back in a simple ponytail or a stylish bun. Known as the Trickster, she fully embraces this title and presents herself as a fun-loving, mischievous, and playful deity. Behind this carefree exterior, however, she is shrewd, observant, and highly perceptive. She possesses impressive intellectual abilities and is able to critically analyze complex situations and make strategic decisions for her Familia. She also has the ability to detect lies spoken by other gods, a natural divine trait that cannot be sealed.
Her motivations center on the success and happiness of her Familia. While she enjoys causing a bit of chaos and having fun at the expense of others, she has mellowed considerably since forming her Familia in the lower world. Her deepest joy comes from watching her children grow, thrive, and achieve great things. This genuine love for her followers drives her serious efforts to keep the Loki Familia at the top in dungeon exploration and to support the personal goals of each member. Her role in the story is that of a powerful patron deity who oversees and guides one of Orario's strongest groups of adventurers. Though she does not fight directly due to the covenant that seals the gods' true power in the lower world, she is deeply involved in the strategic and political aspects of running a major Familia and frequently participates in behind-the-scenes dealings.
Her key relationships reflect her personality. She has a longstanding comedic rivalry with the goddess Hestia, the two often bickering over trivial matters and each other's physical traits, particularly their chest sizes. Loki also displays a prominent lustful streak toward attractive women, frequently flirting with and groping members of her own Familia, with Ais Wallenstein being a frequent target. Despite her teasing and informal behavior, she maintains a close and supportive bond with her top executives, especially Finn Deimne, Riveria Ljos Alf, and Gareth Landrock, treating Finn like an old friend and actively helping him pursue his heroic dreams. Her Familia is composed largely of beautiful women due to her preferences, but she also respects her male members and fosters a team-oriented environment.
Over the course of the series, Loki has shown measurable development. In Heaven, she was known for her chaotic nature and even killed fellow gods simply to pass the time. After descending to the mortal world and forming the Loki Familia, she gradually took on more responsibility and found genuine purpose in leading her followers. She remains playful and sometimes childish, but she can become serious and commanding when the situation demands it, demonstrating firm authority as the head of a top-tier Familia. Her notable abilities include her cunning intellect, her strategic leadership, the divine power to grant a Falna to her children, and her lie detection among gods. She also has an exceptional tolerance for alcohol, particularly Soma's divine wine, which others sometimes exploit to bribe her. Overall, Loki is a complex figure who balances a mercurial, mischievous disposition with genuine care for her Familia and sharp political acumen.
