OVA
Description
Fuku is a cabbit, a small creature that resembles a cross between a cat and a rabbit, who serves as the biological computer unit and core power source for the spacecraft Kamidake II, which belongs to the protagonist Seina Yamada. She hatches from an egg aboard the ship and is given her name, which means good luck in Japanese, by Seina himself as a playful contrast to his own notoriously bad fortune. Created by the brilliant scientist Washu Hakubi, she is the younger sister of the famous cabbit Ryo-Ohki and was designed to be a next-generation interface, with performance and fighting abilities that are superior to her sister's when operating on a stand-alone basis. An unusual aspect of her origin is that she was created using the soul of a former mass murderer known only as Widow, though all memories of this previous existence were erased.

In terms of personality, Fuku is deeply devoted and loyal to Seina, who is the first person to truly care for and show faith in her. This devotion is balanced with a sensitive and easily frightened nature, especially when faced with conflict or stress.. She is prone to loneliness and becomes depressed when she feels sad or isolated, but her mood is closely tied to her function; when she is happy and feels loved, she can supply immense amounts of power to the Kamidake II. Like her sister, she shares a simple, endearing fondness for carrots, and she also exhibits a quirky enjoyment of rough play or being tossed around.

Fuku's primary role in the story is as the heart of Seina's ship. Her emotional state directly regulates the vessel's energy output, meaning her ability to mature and gain confidence is essential for their survival in dangerous situations. She is initially troubled by the stress of battle, which limits her potential, but she finds the strength to rise to the occasion thanks to Seina's affection and support. Her unique abilities include merging with a Juraian Royal Treeship, a capability she demonstrates when she shares the responsibility of powering the Kamidake II with Kiriko Masaki Jurai's tree, Miyuki. While she is initially incapable of transforming into a humanoid form like her older sister, Washu explains that with proper nurturing and experience, she will eventually gain this ability. Her mature form is said to depend on the experiences she accumulates while traveling the galaxy.

Regarding key relationships, her bond with Seina is the most central, mirroring the connection between Ryo-Ohki and Tenchi Masaki. She is also very close to Neju Na Melmas, often spending time with her when not with Seina, in a relationship similar to that of Ryo-Ohki and Princess Sasami. Later, she becomes a great comfort to the young Wau child Acha, who has no one else her own age in the group. In a notable demonstration of her importance to the timeline, Fuku travels back in time to a point before her own birth to correct an altered message, ensuring that history proceeds as it should so she will eventually meet Seina. In the series Tenchi Muyo! GXP Paradise Starting, she appears as part of Seina's group of cabbits, residing with him on Earth as he becomes involved in a major project to create Banjo Island. Specific information regarding Fuku in Tenchi Muyo! GXP Paradise Starting beyond her presence as a member of Seina's crew is not available.
