Description
Angelino Diaz, known as Lino, is a 22-year-old pizza delivery driver living with his roommate Vinz at Hotel Santa Teresa in Dark Meat City's Rios Rosas neighborhood. He possesses a short stature and an uncommonly large spherical head, featuring oversized eyes with minuscule pitch-black pupils. His skin resembles onyx, frequently depicted with bright highlights, and a prominent horizontal scar marks his belly and left side. He typically wears plain urban clothes like baggy trousers and light-colored shirts, creating contrast against his dark skin.

Personality-wise, Angelino labels himself a "loser," favoring survival through meekness and avoiding conflict. Though frustrated by his situation, he shows less cynicism than Vinz and often searches for silver linings. He displays caring behavior, such as feeding cockroaches in his apartment and tolerating the eccentric Willy. A naive, romantic side emerges through his instant infatuation with Luna. However, his half-Macho biology triggers uncharacteristic brutality under threat, abilities he becomes reluctant to use due to their uncontrollable, destructive nature.

Born a hybrid of a Macho father and human mother in Great Falls, Montana, Angelino was hunted from infancy by Bruce and the Men in Black, forcing his family to flee to Dark Meat City. His mother Angela abandoned him in a dumpster for protection, where the wounded Taz found him. A scooter accident occurs when distraction by Luna causes him to collide with a van. This triggers headaches and hallucinations where human shadows appear as demonic tentacled figures, attracting Macho attention and igniting the central conflict.

Post-accident, Angelino grapples intensely with his Macho heritage, discovering abilities like superhuman speed (dodging bullets), durability (surviving vehicular trauma), wall-crawling, and transforming his arms into tentacles. These powers induce a berserk state marked by uncontrollable violent urges. Key relationships shape his journey: loyalty to Vinz drives him to resist Macho brainwashing attempts to kill his friend, while his bond with Luna evolves from infatuation to complex trust despite her initial betrayal. A pivotal moment sees him refuse to use his powers against Bruce, even risking death to prioritize his humanity.

Extended media appearances deepen his experiences. *Métamuta* depicts him in a coma-induced dream sequence after Vinz's apparent death, descending into severe hallucinations and mental instability where he interacts with visions of Luna and childhood memories, culminating in a surreal Macho confrontation and symbolic reunion with Vinz. *Puta Madre* features a brief cameo in Jesus "El Diablo's" dream, showing Angelino as a child complaining about being struck in the head. *Loba Loca* includes a single-panel appearance of him driving an RV, later expanded in the comic sequel *Mutafukaz 2*.

His powers, stemming from hybrid biology described as having "limitless" potential, include enhanced combat proficiency with improvised weapons (roch spray, scissors, firearms), regenerative durability, and berserk-state tentacle manifestation. The psychological toll remains a core conflict, as using these abilities correlates with loss of control and violent outbursts. Post-climax, he writes letters to the absent Luna and resumes a semblance of normal life, though the Macho threat endures.
