Description
Hiroshi Agasa, known as Professor Agasa, is a 53-year-old inventor and engineer living next door to Shinichi Kudo. He attended Teitan Elementary and Okuho Middle School, meeting his first love, Fusae Kinoshita, before she moved away during their sixth-grade fall term; his family subsequently relocated to the countryside. His family includes a deceased great-uncle, Kurisuke Agasa, who died 50 years prior at age 38, a great-aunt, Teiko Agasa, who passed away around age 76 about a year earlier, an unnamed cousin, and a cousin's granddaughter.
After Shinichi Kudo's transformation into Conan Edogawa, Agasa became his pivotal confidant and supporter. He was the first person Shinichi encountered post-shrinking by the APTX 4869 poison. Agasa immediately fabricated Conan's identity as the child of distant acquaintances, enrolling him at Teitan Elementary, which led to the Detective Boys forming. He designed numerous investigative gadgets for Conan, including the voice-changing bowtie, detective badges, and flashlight-watches, though some inventions proved unreliable or destructive.
