Description
Momoko Asuka, the sixth main character introduced in the series, was born in Japan but relocated to New York during childhood due to her parents' work, leading to significant loss of Japanese proficiency. After returning to Japan, communication barriers initially rendered her reserved and withdrawn. Doremi crucially aided her adjustment, supported by other friends over time.

In New York, Momoko encountered Majomonroe while struggling with an English book. Majomonroe taught her English and let her assist in a bakery. Accidentally witnessing Majomonroe’s return from the witch world triggered a transformation into a Witch Frog, prompting Momoko to become a witch apprentice out of guilt. She dedicated herself to Majomonroe’s recovery, but Majomonroe passed away after gifting her an earring. Grief-stricken, Momoko shattered her crystal ball attempting revival, losing consciousness. The Witch Queen healed her but revoked her apprenticeship. After Momoko’s return to Japan, the Queen reinstated her to help run a new sweet shop.

Tallest among the girls, Momoko has fair skin and long chartreuse hair looped at the bottom of her head with lavender accents, thin forelocks reaching her shoulders, and bangs brushed aside under a cyan clip. Her round lime-green eyes lack visible pupils and feature an added shine effect. She wears Majomonroe’s earring in her left ear. Her standard outfit includes a cropped orange shirt, a white skirt with a yellow corner split, yellow suspenders secured by cyan buttons, black socks, and white sneakers with yellow laces. Earlier, she wore cyan sneakers.

Initially perceived as shy due to language struggles, Momoko later revealed a bright, energetic personality. Easily excited and passionate about helping others, she excels academically with strong interests in studying and reading. Her demeanor includes goofy eccentricities, and she becomes emotionally intense in heightened moments, sometimes reverting to English. She avoids conflict, supports peaceful resolutions, and advocates free will.

Her fairy companion is Nini, and her chartreuse crystal ball is shaped like a three-leaf clover. Spells include the transformation chant "Pretty Witch Momoko-cchi!", the incantation "Perutan Petton Pararira Pon!", and the stage invocation "Perutan Petton, Sawayaka ni!".

Key relationships feature Doremi, who helped her adapt; Hazuki, reconciled after an initial misunderstanding with a shared secret place; Aiko, who related to her transfer struggles; and Onpu, who became a close friend. She initially hesitated around the baby Hana but grew deeply attached. Her bond with Majomonroe remained profoundly impactful, inspiring her dream to reopen Majomonroe’s New York shop. Kotaro Okajima became a friend she admired for his determination.

Later, Momoko maintained email contact with friends and returned to Japan during high school for patisserie studies, aiming for specialized school enrollment. She appeared in a cameo during a 2020 film where characters visited a location inspired by the series' settings.
