Description
Kamina is a fifteen year old girl who appears in the animated short Sing! Dance! Altaria! She loves singing and has a deep passion for performing, with a dream of competing in the Grand Prix. Her inspiration came from seeing another performer, René, debut at the same age, and she aims to outperform all other acts on stage while winning over fans with her music. Kamina first discovered her love for singing while performing on the streets, and at age twelve she met a Swablu that also loved to sing. The two quickly became partners, bonding over their shared musical enthusiasm. Kamina is an upbeat and determined person who genuinely wants to make people happy through her performances. She spent three years training rigorously with Swablu for the Grand Prix, showing patience and dedication. In the story, Kamina serves as the human partner to the Pokémon Swablu, which later evolves into Altaria. Their relationship is one of mutual support: when they become separated on the way to the competition, Swablu doubts itself but finds strength by remembering Kamina’s love and encouragement, allowing it to return to the stage and evolve. Kamina’s role is to provide the emotional anchor and artistic drive that helps her partner succeed. Her abilities include strong vocal and stage performance skills, as well as the capacity to inspire and bring out the best in her Pokémon through trust and collaboration. Over the course of the short, Kamina grows from a street performer with a dream to a confident competitor who can achieve her goals alongside her partner.
