Tapion hails from the planet Konats, where he earned legendary status by sealing the phantom monster Hirudegarn a millennium ago. During the conflict, he and his younger brother Minotia lured Hirudegarn with enchanted ocarinas, enabling a Konatsian wizard to cleave the creature in half using a divine sword. To prevent its resurgence, each brother imprisoned half of Hirudegarn within themselves—Tapion containing the upper portion—before being sealed inside mystical music boxes cast across the cosmos. Tapion’s confinement ended on Earth. In the primary timeline, the sorcerer Hoi freed Tapion to resurrect Hirudegarn. Though Tapion initially withdrew to contain the monster, he formed a bond with Trunks, who evoked memories of Minotia. When Hirudegarn fully revived and unleashed destruction, Tapion joined the Dragon Team to defeat it. He later used a time machine to return to Konats, bequeathing his sword to Trunks before departure. Within *Super Dragon Ball Heroes*, Tapion resurfaces during the "Supreme Kai of Time Saga," competing in the Super Space-Time Tournament. There he encountered Xeno Trunks—a counterpart from another timeline—mistaking him for the Trunks he knew and challenging him to battle. Upon recognizing Xeno Trunks as distinct, they united against a Hirudegarn emerging from a separate space-time. Tapion recounted his history with the original Trunks and the sealing of Hirudegarn during this clash. Ultimately, his timeline vanished when his team failed to advance in the tournament, erasing Tapion and his reality from existence.
