Eager to help others and inclined to find the positive in difficult situations, Momo possesses strong social skills, especially a talent for delivering unpleasant news gently. She consistently prioritizes Hose’s happiness and repeatedly tries to encourage a relationship between him and Sumireko Sanshokuin.

Momo appears at specific moments in the narrative: she is seen briefly with Hose during a date montage involving other characters, and later, at a shopping mall, she helps locate a lost book by providing the address of a bookstore where it can be found.

Her given name, Momo, means "peach." Her surname, Sakurabara, comes from "sakura" (cherry blossom) and "hara" (field or plain). The nickname Cherry is created by removing "bara" from her surname, leaving a reference to cherry blossoms.
