Description
Xóchitl belongs to the Aztec magic cabal "Return of the Winged One." Originally from Latin America, presumably Mexico, she has brown skin, shoulder-length curly black hair, and brown eyes, with physical measurements B84 W58 H81. She initially appeared using an Asian disguise and wearing a red sailor uniform. Later, such as during the Daihaseisai festival, she adopted a red and black sports jacket with red sweatpants and sneakers to blend in.

Her background includes serving as a "Corpse Worker" for the cabal, extracting residual information from corpses and handling funeral arrangements. This role fostered a deep aversion to deadly weapons due to her awareness of violence's consequences. However, during the cabal's attack on Liberal Arts City, she disobeyed orders. As punishment, she was merged with an original grimoire by her senior Etzali to save her life. This replaced two-thirds of her body with artificial parts. The grimoire's influence on her will remains unclear, leaving the source of her subsequent behavior ambiguous.

In Academy City, she operated under the dark side organization MEMBER with a primary mission to hunt down the defector Etzali. During the Daihaseisai, she exploited the chaos to track him, using the Reformatory's AIM-diffusion-field-dampening effects to neutralize esper interference. She lethally redirected weapons against mercenaries from the rival group BLOCK using her magic. She later confronted Etzali directly in the Reformatory, wielding a Macuahuitl—an Aztec obsidian-studded weapon—and employing spells that turned opponents' weapons against their users. Etzali noted her unfamiliar aggression, attributing it to the grimoire or the cabal's transformation.

Concurrently, she encountered Ruiko Saten at the Shinohara Liquid Material Factory. After Saten discovered Kouzaku Mitori's liquid metal creature, Xóchitl intervened, ensuring Saten's escape unharmed. She then confronted Mitori, identifying her as a MEMBER traitor based on intel from the Professor, another operative. Dismissing Mitori's threats, Xóchitl reaffirmed her mission focus in Academy City. She later informed Saten that Mitori's true target was Misaka Mikoto, though her own priority remained Etzali.

Her abilities encompass corpse-related magic for information gathering and weapon-manipulation spells, including wielding the Macuahuitl in combat. The grimoire merger enhanced her capabilities, allowing her to override an opponent's control over their weapons, as demonstrated when she forced Etzali's obsidian knife to target his own face.
