TV-Series
Description
Asahi Mogami was a nationally popular idol who perished in a car accident roughly one year before the main events. Her unfulfilled passion for performing caused her to persist as a ghost, unable to ascend to the afterlife; she was 17 years old at her death.

Her appearance features shoulder-length pink hair with bangs hanging left and emerald-green eyes. She wears an idol costume comprising a white top with a bright pink front bow and an orange back ribbon, paired with an orange skirt overlaid by a pink tutu. She completes the look with pink strapped high-heeled shoes and bright pink gloves adorned by orange ribbons on the wrists.

Her personality remains consistently positive, energetic, and enthusiastic about idol activities, maintaining a cheerful and determined attitude despite her ghostly state. She exhibits chuunibyou traits like an affinity for special powers, eyepatches, and dramatic catchphrases, influencing her creative decisions such as designing a visual kei-inspired persona featuring an eyepatch and fake wings. She possesses a notable fondness for sweet foods, particularly cream parfaits, and occasionally uses possession to indulge in them.

She identifies as female but willingly inhabits the male body of idol Yuya Niyodo through possession to continue performing. The gender discrepancy doesn't concern her, as her primary focus stays on idol activities regardless of form. She adopts male mannerisms while controlling Niyodo's body, viewing the physical differences as a performance challenge. When not possessing him, she acts as a spirit advisor encouraging his development.

Her relationship with Niyodo starts transactionally: she possesses him to perform while he avoids work. This evolves into a mutually supportive partnership where he helps maintain her presence in the living world, and she increasingly prioritizes his growth as an individual performer. She eventually refuses to possess him during key performances, insisting he develop his own style. Their dynamic remains platonic, both disinterested in romantic tropes despite their close connection.

Her influence extends to others: superfan Hikaru Setouchi, a former hikikomori, credits her music with inspiring his return to society. Initially critical of Niyodo for mimicking her style, Setouchi later accepts Niyodo's authenticity. Fellow idol Kazuki Yoshino gains temporary ability to see her after consuming Goblin Taffy, leading to his involvement in keeping her existence secret.

Her development involves reconciling her desire to perform with ensuring Niyodo retains his identity. Early on, she prioritizes stage time through possession, but later emphasizes collaborative performances blending their strengths. She expresses concerns about overshadowing his individuality, though Niyodo reassures her their partnership is voluntary. Their interactions gradually acknowledge emotional reciprocity, with Niyodo actively supporting her during doubt.
