Description
Torako Kise resides at the Harunoya Inn with her family. She is the wife of Bunta Kise and mother to their young son, Shota Kise. The family seeks the inn's healing hot springs to help Bunta recover from traumatic injuries caused by a car accident. Torako stays alongside her husband and son throughout their visit.
Bunta finds the inn's food too bland during his recovery, prompting the young innkeeper, Okko, to seek help from a rival innkeeper to adjust his meals. A critical revelation emerges that Bunta drove the truck involved in the accident that killed Okko's parents. Torako is present as her family prepares to depart abruptly, overwhelmed by guilt after this disclosure, while Okko extends an invitation for them to remain.
Torako observes Okko's emotional state attentively, recognizing the girl's distress and visible anguish following the revelation about the accident's connection to her family.
