Moeka Kiryu is a socially withdrawn individual who communicates predominantly through text messages during face-to-face interactions, exhibiting profound distress when separated from her phone. Her background involves childhood neglect and abuse from parents who considered her an unwanted pregnancy, resulting in severe social isolation and bullying. After attempting suicide due to depression in 2004, she prepared to jump from a building in June 2006 but halted upon receiving a recruitment email from "FB," a SERN operative. This led her to join the Rounders mercenary unit. FB became a maternal figure, with Moeka developing extreme dependency on their communications and executing violent orders to preserve this connection. In the Gamma Attractor Field worldline, Moeka undergoes distinct behavioral shifts: she speaks verbally despite admitted difficulties while displaying heightened responsibility, perceptiveness, and combat proficiency. Collaborating closely with Rintaro Okabe, she assists in eliminating Europol agents and prioritizes his safety due to his role in giving her life purpose. She considers both FB and Okabe family, harboring implied romantic feelings toward the latter, and shifts her loyalty from blind obedience to FB toward a reciprocal alliance with Okabe. Within the Delta Attractor Field, Moeka authors a successful romance novel titled "My Rainbow," loosely inspired by her relationship with Okabe. Despite persistent introversion and depression rooted in her belief of being "unneeded," she gradually lowers emotional barriers after bonding with Okabe and the Future Gadget Lab members, ultimately achieving a stable, happier existence. A notable divergence occurs in the "Twin Automata" route, where Moeka protects Maho Hiyajo from assailants attempting to steal the Amadeus AI system. Her intervention thwarts Maho's coercion into surrendering access codes, demonstrating her capacity for autonomous, protective actions when aligned with positive influences.
