Saori Gotō is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on January 8, 1987, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. She is currently affiliated with the agency Across Entertainment. Gotō stands 152 cm tall and is known for a soft, gentle, and often reserved vocal quality that has made her a popular choice for quiet, melancholic, or mysterious characters.

Gotō discovered her passion for acting in middle school while participating in her school's drama club. Her professional career began in 2002 when she successfully passed the audition for the second generation of the G.G.F. project unit. While still a member of G.G.F., she formed the musical duo airyth with fellow voice actress Yuka Iguchi. Gotō made her voice acting debut in 2003 when she was cast as Chitose Karasuma in the Galaxy Angel series, a role that brought her significant early recognition.

Her career includes a diverse range of anime roles. She is known for portraying Moeka Kiryū in the Steins;Gate series, a character that exemplifies her ability to convey deep emotional vulnerability. She is particularly recognized for her roles as Elise Schwarzer in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series, as Mirai in multiple Senran Kagura games, and as Madoka Tsukimori in Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. She has also provided voices for mobile games such as Whisperain in Arknights, Ui Kozeki in Blue Archive, and HMS Newcastle in Azur Lane.

Throughout her career, Gotō has collaborated with many of the same production teams and co-stars.
