TV-Series
Description
In the financial district of Tokyo, a mysterious realm exists where individuals can trade their future potential for immediate wealth and power. This alternate dimension, accessible only to those invited, operates through a system where participants, known as Entrepreneurs, engage in high-stakes battles called Deals. These battles are fought using Midas Money, a currency tied to the Entrepreneurs' financial futures, and are mediated by Asset Spirits, supernatural entities representing the Entrepreneurs' financial worth and aspirations.

The protagonist, Kimimaro Yoga, is a financially struggling economics student who lives a modest life, prioritizing stability over ambition. His life takes a drastic turn when he is drawn into the financial district after encountering Masakaki, a cryptic figure who offers him the chance to change his fate. Kimimaro reluctantly becomes an Entrepreneur, partnering with an Asset Spirit named Mashu, a mysterious girl with a deep connection to the financial district. As Kimimaro navigates this perilous world, he learns that the consequences of losing a Deal extend beyond financial ruin—his very future and the futures of those he cares about are at stake.

Kimimaro's motivations are further complicated by his interactions with other Entrepreneurs, including his childhood friend, Takemikazuchi "Mikuni" Hanemura, who has become a powerful and ruthless figure within the district. Mikuni's actions reveal the darker implications of the system, as he manipulates the financial district to protect his sister, who suffers from a terminal illness. The series explores themes of greed, sacrifice, and the moral ambiguity of pursuing wealth at the expense of one's future.

As the story progresses, Kimimaro is forced to confront the ethical dilemmas of the financial district and the true nature of the Midas Money system. The battles between Entrepreneurs escalate, revealing the high personal costs of their choices. The narrative builds toward a climactic confrontation that challenges the very foundations of the financial district and the fates of those entangled within it. Through its exploration of economic systems and human ambition, the series presents a thought-provoking examination of the consequences of trading one's future for immediate gain.
