Description
Ream Stream is a Time Patrol agent from the future who recruits and trains Bon Namihira after he accidentally witnesses time travel operations and proves resistant to memory erasure. She acts as Bon's senior despite their similar age, possessing a subtly taller stature during their young teen years. Her personality blends bravery, wisdom, cheerfulness, friendliness, and compassion with firmness and occasional stubbornness. As an experienced agent, she strictly adheres to Time Patrol protocols, emphasizing the critical importance of preserving historical continuity and minimizing disruptions during missions to save individuals from historically insignificant deaths. She demonstrates extensive knowledge of historical contexts and proficiency with futuristic Time Patrol technology, including time boats for temporal navigation.

Ream serves as Bon's primary field partner and mentor, guiding him through missions across diverse historical periods like ancient Egypt during pyramid construction, 1945 Okinawa, the late Jurassic era, and 19th-century Tombstone, Arizona. She exhibits quick thinking under pressure, improvising life-saving measures when Bon nearly suffocates in a sealed pyramid chamber. Her approach balances duty with moral considerations, confronting the ethical limitations of saving lives during events like the Battle of Okinawa. She occasionally displays humanizing traits like embarrassment during intimate situations and participates in non-work activities, including a beach vacation to the Jurassic period.

Her partnership with Bon evolves from initial trainer-trainee dynamics into mutual reliance, though their occasional clumsiness together sometimes triggers additional mission risks. She operates alongside Buyoyon, a blob-like companion creature that provides informational support and comedic relief. Midway through the series, Ream unexpectedly transfers from the rescue unit to the anomaly handling division, temporarily departing from field operations with Bon. She later returns for a critical finale mission involving temporal anomalies. Ream has also appeared in cameo roles in other media, such as *Doraemon: Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016*, without explicit confirmation of her identity.
