Description
Enishi Shijima is the manager and second-in-command of the Kissuiso Inn, a position he holds primarily because he is the son of the inn's matriarch, Sui Shijima. He is the younger brother of Satsuki Matsumae and the uncle of the protagonist, Ohana Matsumae. Enishi is also a university classmate and later the husband of the business consultant Takako Kawajiri.
Throughout his childhood, Enishi was known as a crybaby and was frequently bullied by his older sister, Satsuki. This dynamic created a deep-seated inferiority complex that persists into his adult life. Despite the torment, he paradoxically looked up to his sister as a role model, viewing her as popular, attractive, and intelligent.
