Description
Kratos Aurion, a Tethe’allan noble raised in a household that defied norms by dignifying half-elf slaves, cultivated an early defiance against prejudice. Trained as a knight, he ascended to captaincy under Princess Soleil, their unspoken bond constrained by rigid social divides. A fateful encounter with Mithos and Martel Yggdrasil—half-elf siblings prophesying Sylvarant’s assault—reshaped his path. When the Tethe’allan king dismissed their warnings, the capital’s fall and Kratos’ exile bound him to the siblings, forging the legendary Four Kharlan Heroes alongside Yuan.

Victory in the Kharlan War led Mithos to cleave the world with the Eternal Sword, seeking to revive the Great Kharlan Tree. Martel’s murder by a human ally fractured Mithos, spurring him to found Cruxis and pursue a homogenized world. Transformed into an angel via Cruxis Crystal, Kratos consumed an Aionis stone to offset human frailty, gaining agelessness and arcane prowess. Millennia spent shepherding Chosen Ones to resurrect Martel eroded his faith in Mithos’ vision.

Disillusionment crystallized when he rescued Anna, a human test subject of Kvar’s Angelus Project. Fleeing Cruxis, they wed and bore a son, Lloyd. Kratos discarded his crystal to share a mortal life, but Kvar’s retaliation saw Anna mutated by Exsphere removal. Forced to end her rampage, Kratos presumed Lloyd dead after a tragic accident and retreated to Cruxis, despairing.

Centuries later, posing as a mercenary, he guarded Colette on her pilgrimage while covertly mentoring Lloyd, oblivious to their kinship. Reuniting with Yuan reignited old tensions, culminating in Lloyd learning Kratos’ identity. Their clash ended with Kratos expending his mana to shatter Origin’s seal, reuniting the worlds. With Derris-Kharlan’s mana stabilized, he departed, securing the reborn planet’s future.

A blend of millennia-honed swordsmanship, Cruxis-bestowed flight and strength, and Aionis-fueled elemental magic defined Kratos’ prowess. His tactical brilliance balanced loyalty to duty with an evolving moral compass, culminating in a stoic yet redemptive legacy forged through Lloyd’s uncompromising idealism.
