Description
Benimaru, born prince of an ogre tribe, belonged to the ruling family of a village annihilated by an orc army. Escaping the massacre with his sister Shuna and survivors, he crossed paths with Rimuru Tempest in Jura Forest. A brief clash erupted when he misidentified Rimuru as a threat, but he swiftly apologized, forging a provisional alliance. This bond deepened into unwavering fealty after Rimuru bestowed a name upon him, catalyzing his metamorphosis from ogre to kijin and eventually into an oni.

His physique transformed radically post-evolution. Originally a towering, crimson-skinned ogre with red hair and horns, he adopted a humanoid form standing 180 cm tall, his skin now fair and features sharpened. He donned a red-and-yellow kimono mirroring his fiery essence, accentuated by crimson facial markings tracing back to a childhood mishap.

Personality-wise, Benimaru balances carefree confidence with tactical prudence. Once impulsive, his ascension as Rimuru’s military commander honed his rationality and composure. He savors sweets, disdains carrots, and engages in lighthearted rivalries with comrades like Souei. Political engagements to Momiji, a tengu, and Albis, a beastkin, initially secured lineage preservation until his Demon Lord evolution negated reproductive needs, transforming these unions into partnerships rooted in mutual respect.

In combat, Benimaru commands fire-based powers amplified by Rimuru’s naming. His Unique Skill "Great General" ascended to the Ultimate Skill "Blazing Sun Lord Amaterasu," enabling dominion over light, heat, and spatial manipulation. Signature techniques like "Black Flame Prison" and "Shadow Black Flame Hundred Flowers" unleash scorching annihilation and swift blade assaults. His resistances nullify physical strikes, elemental forces, and psychic intrusions.

As Rimuru’s military linchpin, he rose from leading the Fourth Corps to commanding Tempest’s entire army. He spearheaded pivotal victories during the Falmuth invasion and Eastern Empire war, showcasing tactical ingenuity. Post-Demon Lord evolution granted near-immortality, elevating him among the Twelve Guardian Lords and cementing his rank alongside Diablo and Zegion as Rimuru’s foremost lieutenants.

Loyalty defines his ties to Rimuru, while reverence guides his bond with swordmaster Hakurou. Childhood companions Shion and Souei share his camaraderie. Though his marriages to Momiji and Albis began as political strategy, both now collaborate in Tempest’s governance and defense.

His arc traces a vengeful refugee’s ascent to composed strategist, merging martial mastery with administrative acumen. Evolution into a Demon Lord and mastery of transcendent abilities mark his progression, while familial and martial duties underscore his dual role in Tempest’s hierarchy.
