Description
Milim Nava is the daughter of Veldanava, the Star King Dragon, and Lucia, sister to the first emperor of the Eastern Empire. Born over two millennia ago as the sole Dragonoid, she inherited immense power from her father. Both parents died when she was young, leaving her with no memories of them. Her sole companion was Gaia, a pet dragon gifted by Veldanava. Agents from the Super-Magic Kingdom of the elves killed Gaia while capturing Milim. Consumed by rage, she annihilated the elven kingdom, absorbing countless souls and awakening as a true Demon Lord. Her rampage threatened global destruction until Guy Crimson fought her for seven days and Ramiris pacified her, leading to their formation of the Demon Lord council.
She typically appears as a youthful girl around 14–15 years old, sporting platinum pink hair in twin tails and blue eyes. Her standard attire is a swimsuit-like outfit with one thigh-high sock and a thigh band, sometimes covered by a cloak. In her true Dragonoid form, she manifests a crimson horn, wings, and jet-black battle armor. A later outfit incorporated a miniskirt and longer top. Her "Stampede" or berserk state features dark skin, fiery armor, and draconic appendages, amplifying her destructive presence.
Milim's personality mixes childlike energy with sharp intellect. She acts impulsively, seeks amusement, despises boredom, and often neglects her duties as a Demon Lord. Despite this, she is highly observant and resistant to manipulation, successfully deceiving adversaries like Clayman by feigning mind control. She forms deep bonds with those she trusts, displaying fierce loyalty and protectiveness. However, she reacts violently to perceived slights and is sensitive to insults and gossip. Trauma from loss makes her reluctant to harm others unnecessarily, and she consciously restrains her power to avoid collateral damage. Notable quirks include a love for honey and sweets and a strong aversion to raw vegetables, particularly green peppers and carrots, stemming from forced offerings as worship food.
As one of the original Demon Lords, Milim rules the Forgotten Dragon City. Dragonewts—demi-humans born from Gaia's essence—worship her as their goddess. She delegates governance to priests like Middray and Hermes, rarely visiting due to displeasure with their vegetable-heavy meals. Her domain expanded after incorporating territories from subordinates Frey and Karion, whom she defeated or allied with following Clayman's downfall.
Her abilities rank her among the world's strongest beings. Unique Skills include "Dragon Eye" for seeing hidden truths and "Dragon Ear" for enhanced auditory perception. Her Ultimate Skill "Wrath King Sataniel" grants infinite magic energy. Combat techniques range from the city-destroying "Dragon Star Burst" to the kingdom-annihilating "Dragon Star Nova." She employs multi-layered barriers for near-absolute defense and enters "Hell Mode" or "Stampede" to unleash full power, risking global catastrophe. To mitigate this during sparring, Rimuru Tempest crafted "Dragon Knuckles," gloves that suppress her strength by 90%.
Milim's relationships define key arcs. She considers Rimuru Tempest her closest friend ("mabudachi"), bonding over food, games, and gifts like the Dragon Knuckles. Their friendship began when she sought to subjugate him but was placated by honey and mutual respect. She later aided his federation, co-managing the labyrinth and assisting against threats like Charybdis. Other alliances include Frey (a subordinate and caretaker), Karion (her aide), and Veldora Tempest (her uncle). Guy Crimson and Ramiris remain peers from her early days as a Demon Lord. The revival of Gaia—orchestrated by Rimuru—resolved her deepest sorrow, strengthening her emotional stability.
Her development spans evolving from the isolated "Destroyer" to embracing community. Gaia's return brought profound joy, symbolizing healing from past trauma. Daily interactions in Tempest, depicted in spin-offs like Slime Diaries, highlight her integration into societal norms while retaining playful destructiveness, underscoring her journey to becoming a guardian of cherished connections.
