Jintarō Tsuji is one of twelve Seleção participants in Mr. Outside's game, designated Seleção No. 2 and granted ¥10 billion to pursue his vision for Japan's salvation. A former music producer, Tsuji joins the Seleção game.
After Akira Takizawa intercepts missiles over Japan, Tsuji exploits the resulting visuals. He launches a global marketing campaign transforming Takizawa into the viral "Air King," disseminating posters and merchandise to establish him as either a martyr or terrorist figure. Tsuji manipulates public perception further by spreading rumors that Takizawa is the illegitimate son of the deceased Prime Minister Iinuma, fabricating Takizawa's lineage to sway political sentiment and advance his own game agenda.
Tsuji actively monitors fellow Seleção via their Eden system activity logs. He coordinates strategies targeting Takizawa with Seleção No. 1, Daiju Mononobe. As part of his tactics, Tsuji orders Juiz to publicly label Takizawa as the perpetrator of the Careless Monday attacks. Simultaneously, he engineers situations where Takizawa wears Air King-branded apparel, aiming to incite public hostility and increase assassination attempts against him.
When Saki Morimi travels to New York searching for Takizawa, Tsuji escalates his methods by arranging firearm placement in her luggage to compromise her legally and disrupt her search. His approach consistently leverages media manipulation and psychological operations over direct confrontation.
Tsuji's involvement concludes when Mononobe launches missiles targeting the trucks housing the Juiz supercomputers. One missile destroys Tsuji's operational base, eliminating Juiz access and removing him from the game. Mr. Outside ultimately declares all remaining Seleção, including Tsuji, winners before erasing their game memories entirely.
