Description
Northa, alias Nayuta Kita in human form, stands as the ultimate agent of the antagonistic Labyrinth organization in *Fresh Pretty Cure!*. Artificially created by Moebius using plant DNA, her non-human origin sets her apart from other Labyrinth operatives. Her core mission is retrieving the powerful entity Infinity after predecessors failed, driving her to target the protagonists and their allies.
Her true form features snow-white skin, pale blue hair curled inward, and vine-like ornaments entwining her arms. She wears a black dress accented with gold and silver, dark red heels, and blue gems dangling from her sleeves. Plants wither and die around her in the human world, reflecting her inherent malevolence. As Nayuta Kita, her appearance shifts to straightened black hair while keeping her facial structure and skin tone, dressed in a black-and-purple gown detailed with grey and gold.
Northa exhibits ruthless manipulation and cruelty, exceeding previous Labyrinth members in power. She instills fear in subordinates like Westar and Soular, employing psychological tactics that nearly brainwash former ally Setsuna (formerly Eas) back into Labyrinth. Despite her antagonism, she displays a peculiar fondness for watering plants. Her relationships center on absolute loyalty to Moebius and a dismissive view of others, treating the fairy Chiffon as a mere object.
Her abilities include "Switch Over" for transformation between forms. She wields the Sorewatase fruit, summoning advanced monsters or enabling her own monstrous transformation featuring root-like whips for arms and energy attacks. She can open dimensional portals, summon roots for offense or trapping enemies, and fuse with fellow antagonist Klein into a dragon-hybrid form capable of negating the protagonists' strongest attacks.
Throughout the series, Northa orchestrates assaults, corrupting the Fuko Gauge into a Sorewatase and using hallucinogenic mist to turn the protagonists against each other. She ultimately captures Chiffon, identified as Infinity, and delivers her to Moebius. During the final battle within Labyrinth, she assumes her Sorewatase form and later fuses with Klein after individual defeat. This fusion is overpowered by the Cure Angels' enhanced abilities, resulting in Northa's defeat and reversion. Her backstory reveals Moebius created her solely as a tool, with no purpose beyond her mission.
In broader media, Northa reappears temporarily in *Pretty Cure All Stars DX 2*. Her fusion with Klein remains unnamed but retains her original voice actress. Although possessing a human alias, she never uses the name "Nayuta Kita" within the series.
