Description
Melt is a 20-year-old lightning mage from a wealthy family. His spendthrift ways resulted in significant debt and exile, stripping him of everything except inherited titles and his loyal servant, Coopa. Melt's initial goal in climbing the tower is to use the legendary Blue Crystal Rod to restore his social standing, acquire women, and remove personal inconveniences.

In combat, Melt wields various numbered rods to cast lightning spells, mastering golf-inspired techniques where Coopa acts as his "caddy," managing and handing him the appropriate rods. Despite projecting competence, Melt frequently calls for incorrect rods, relying on Coopa to covertly supply the right one to maintain effectiveness. This reliance extends beyond combat, as Melt remains unaware of disliked ingredients in Coopa's cooking, demonstrating his lack of attention to detail.

During the first season, Melt and Coopa joined Jil's adventuring party in Episode 3 of *The Aegis of Uruk*. They survived the tower's collapse and the subsequent whirlpool that scattered the group. By the second season, Melt had established a luxurious resort on an upper tower level, with Coopa as head secretary. This venture was later exposed as a Ponzi scheme, forcing Melt and Coopa to flee with the Golden Knights in Episode 3 of *The Sword of Uruk* to avoid repercussions.

After separating from the Golden Knights in Episode 7, Melt and Coopa rejoined Jil's group for the remainder of their journey. Throughout the series, Melt displays moments of unexpected heroism despite his self-serving and cowardly tendencies, often requiring physical motivation from Coopa to act bravely. His development culminates in the final battle when he utilizes his strongest weapon, the previously unseen "Rod 0," signaling growth in capability and resolve.

Following the tower's climactic events and King Gilgamesh's death, Melt and Coopa became retainers to Kaaya in Meskia, marking a shift from his earlier ambitions to a more stable role.
