Chuck Huber is an American voice actor, ADR director, and script writer with a career spanning over two decades, primarily associated with Funimation and OkraTron 5000. He began his acting career in Chicago after graduating from DePaul University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Arts. Before his voice acting work, he performed on stage at renowned venues such as Chicago's Steppenwolf and Goodman Theaters.
Huber's entry into anime voice acting began with roles in the Dragon Ball Z franchise, where he provided voices for characters including Android #17, Garlic Jr., and Kibito. This work led to his long-running association with the Dragon Ball series, in which he also voices Emperor Pilaf, a role he has played across multiple series and films, including Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Another foundational role from this early period is Hiei in Yu Yu Hakusho, which became one of his most recognized performances.
