Description
Originating from the *Fist of the North Star* universe and featured prominently in the spin-off *Legends of the Dark King: A Fist of the North Star Story*, Uighur began as a prisoner in the notorious Cassandra prison. He survived five executions under the previous warden, Gion, demonstrating immense resilience and fighting prowess. During his imprisonment, Raoh visited Cassandra to recruit powerful allies. Their test of strength ended in a draw. Impressed by Uighur's ambition to "create a legacy for himself" and become a legend, Raoh appointed him as Cassandra's new warden. Uighur's first act was to procure a helmet modeled after Raoh's own distinctive headgear.

Uighur possesses a colossal, heavily muscular physique, weighing approximately 770 pounds and towering over others. His imposing stature is accentuated by Viking-inspired armor, a horned helmet with a plume, and a long cape. He fights using the Taizan-ryu Sojo Ben style, wielding dual bullwhips with exceptional speed and dexterity, often faster than the eye can perceive. His signature technique is the Mōko Hakyokudō, a devastating shoulder tackle concentrating all his muscle mass and strength into a single charge. He frequently immobilizes opponents first using traps or his whips to ensure they cannot evade the impact.

As warden, Uighur transformed Cassandra into a hellish prison known for extreme brutality. He reveled in sadism, routinely torturing inmates and implementing practices like the "Ritual of Death," where he plucked hairs from his beard and executed a corresponding number of prisoners for amusement. He silenced dissent by threatening underlings, such as controlling gate guards Raiga and Fuga by threatening to have his pet eagle kill their younger brother. Despite loyalty to Raoh, Uighur ruled with unchecked cruelty, viewing the prison's infamy as an extension of his own legend. His personality combined arrogance, pride in his authority, and a twisted sense of entertainment derived from others' suffering.

In the original *Fist of the North Star* manga and TV series, Uighur's reign ended when Kenshiro stormed Cassandra to rescue Toki. After initially overwhelming Kenshiro with his whips and Mōko Hakyokudō tackle, Uighur was defeated. Kenshiro crushed his shoulder nerves with Hokuto Koretsu Ha, then finished him with Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken. Uighur's body exploded and contorted into an unmarked grave prepared for Kenshiro. In a final act of defiance, he crawled out to declare Cassandra's legend unfinished before dying. The manga portrayed his death with defiance, while the anime adaptation depicted him pleading for help.

In the 1986 film *Fist of the North Star: The Movie*, Uighur served as Raoh's second-in-command and public executioner. He participated in raids like the invasion of Kiba Daioh's territory and was later killed by Rei during the siege of Cassandra.

Uighur appears in multiple video games, typically as a boss character. He is playable in titles like *Ten no Haoh* (2009) and *Hokuto no Ken Seikimatsu Kyūseishu Densetsu*, where his fighting style revolves around his whips and shoulder tackle. His role across games remains consistent with his depiction as a formidable enforcer of Raoh's will.
