Description
Angelique is a 16-year-old girl with silver-blue hair, typically tied with ribbons or in a ponytail, and green eyes. She stands 166 cm tall. A distinctive blue opal necklace, gifted by Bernard, a distant relative who cared for her after her parents perished in a Thanatos attack on their village, is always worn. This tragedy forged her resolve to become a doctor and save lives.

Her path shifts when Nyx, founder of the Aube Hunters, discovers her latent purification abilities and invites her to join their battle against Thanatos. Though she initially declines to focus on medical studies, a Thanatos assault on her school forces her hand. During the attack, she instinctively activates her powers to protect others, purifying the creature. Nyx then reveals her unique destiny as the "Queen's Egg," Arcadia's prophesied savior.

Relocating to Hidamari Mansion in Leiss, Angelique joins the Aube Hunters as their sole female Purifier. Her kind, compassionate nature and fierce determination to protect lives drive her actions. She continues her medical focus by treating injuries inflicted by Thanatos, viewing purification as another vital form of healing.

Following the destruction of Hidamari Mansion in the second season's events, Angelique falls unconscious for six months. She awakens to a world experiencing increased Thanatos outbreaks and societal blame directed at the Aube Hunters. Flashbacks during this time reveal Bernard is actually her elder brother, depicting their childhood bond before he left to become a reporter.

Angelique faces profound trials: Nyx is revealed to be cursed by the evil entity Erebos, manipulating him for 200 years and turning him into an antagonist. She also confronts the prophecy demanding she become the Queen of Arcadia, a role requiring her to sacrifice personal bonds to fulfill her duties. This sacrifice challenges her deeply, as her friendships are fundamental to her identity.

To bolster her resilience, she trains in swordsmanship under Senoda, adopting a practical ponytail and new combat attire. This training culminates in her active participation in battles, notably wielding swords against threats in the finale. Ultimately, she accepts her role as Queen, prioritizing Arcadia's survival over her personal connections despite the emotional cost.
