TV-Series
Description
Mirellia Q. Melromarc is the true ruler of the kingdom of Melromarc, a queen known for her elegance, wisdom, and political acumen. She holds the real authority behind the throne and is widely referred to as the Vixen of Melromarc due to her exceptional diplomatic and negotiation skills. Her leadership has prevented wars and helped unite the Four Legendary Heroes, and she serves as a counterbalance to the injustices and biases that arise within her kingdom.

In terms of personality, Mirellia is both compassionate and caring, genuinely seeking the well-being of others. She is also assertive and just, refusing to submit her own opinion easily unless logically convinced otherwise. Despite her sharp intellect and strategic cunning, she sometimes displays a naturally silly side, which adds warmth to her character. Her motivations are rooted in a desire for justice, peace, and the stability of her kingdom. She works to mend relationships, particularly between the Shield Hero, Naofumi Iwatani, and the previous king, Aultcray Melromarc XXXII.

Within the story, Mirellia plays a pivotal supporting role. She returns from a diplomatic mission early in the series to restore order after her husband and eldest daughter, Malty, have caused great harm. She takes decisive action to correct the kingdom's wrongs and supports the Shield Hero, recognizing his importance in the battle against the Waves of Catastrophe. In season four, she continues to appear as a supporting character, offering guidance and occasionally issuing warnings, such as alerting Naofumi to the possibility of a forced harem during his stay in Siltvelt.

Key relationships include her daughters, Melty and Malty, and her ex-husband, Aultcray. She has a particularly close bond with Melty, her younger daughter and heir, and works to protect her. Her relationship with Malty is strained due to Malty’s treachery. Mirellia maintains a professional relationship with Naofumi, acting as a reliable ally and diplomatic partner. She also interacts with other nations and heroes, using her skills to foster cooperation.

Over the course of the series, Mirellia’s development is marked by her growing involvement in international affairs and her continued efforts to stabilize Melromarc. She is not a combat-oriented character; her notable abilities lie in diplomacy, negotiation, strategic planning, and political manipulation for the greater good. Her presence often brings a sense of calm and order, and she is respected by allies and adversaries alike for her fair and pragmatic governance.
